Bar exams are given twice a year, over the last Tuesday and Wednesday of February and July. In 2026 the dates were February 24–25 and July 28–29; some jurisdictions add a third day or started the NextGen exam in July 2026.

Did Kim Kardashian pass the bar exam? Not yet. Her most recent Kim Kardashian bar exam results (July 2025 California Bar Exam) were not a pass. Searches for the Kim Kardashian bar exam story spiked because her journey shows California’s less common path into law: the Law Office Study Program, sometimes called “reading the law,” where you study under a supervising attorney instead of attending law school.
- 2021: she passed California’s First-Year Law Students’ Examination (the “baby bar”) on her fourth attempt. The baby bar is required for Law Office Study Program students.
- 2025: she finished the program and sat for the California Bar Exam in July 2025. She did not pass that administration, which had an overall pass rate of about 55%.
- 2026: according to media reports, she skipped the February and July 2026 exams and plans to retake the bar later.
