What Happens During the Exam

- Measure height, weight, blood pressure and pulse
- Collect a blood sample (cholesterol, glucose, liver and kidney function, nicotine and more)
- Collect a urine sample
- Sometimes an ECG, especially for older applicants or large policies
Insurers also usually check the MIB (Medical Information Bureau), prescription history and driving records.
